Hi there. Lapsed artist and semi-lapsed musician.
I used to have stuff here, but "Deviant" Art decided some of my art was too deviant and deleted it. So I removed the rest. Why give them content to play with if they're going to be prudes. I don't interact here. There's just spam and capitalist bullshit.
I also got shit from arrogant Flickr managers, so my account there is pretty minimal now and I don't socialize on there any more.

i removed the strong language from my entries so i could remove the "adult content" tag which keeps NON-members from even being able to CHOOSE to see some of my stuff. i swear... strong language... FUCKING LAME! GET OVER IT!
50x50... that's the limitation on size for an "avatar" here on deviant art... that's not even a standard icon size.

i don't have a subscription, but it allowed me to make folders. In general, though, i think this site is way more complicated than it should be. i started to load Adobe Creative Suite Web Premium on my rebuilt machine last night only to be faced with being forced to activate it over the phone because i didn't know i should have deactivated it on the machine i took apart... before taking it apart. Sigh. Copy protection only hurts paying customers... like me. And to think, all those years i just copied stuff and now i'm legit... and being legit is a pain in the ass. And i'm in debt for going legit. Not fair.
As for protecting one's artwork... i say, never upload beyond a certain size. You can always prove you are the owner of a work by being able to produce the negatives, original RAW images, PSD or AI docs, etc. So i will never upload a full size original unless i am giving it to the community for free use.
